Each Month, our club conducts a bird census for the refuge.

The Aransas Bird and Nature Club is a local, grass-roots organization. Our website is a work in progress. Please check back often to see what we have to offer, timely stories of our natural world, birding hotspots, and activities for both new and experienced birders and naturalists.
Meetings: Monthly, 7pm on the 3rd Thursday of the month from October through May.
No meetings June, July, August, and September
Location: Meetings are held at the Woman's Club in downtown Rockport, across the street from the new Chamber of Commerce building.

The Aransas Bird and Nature Club is a local, grass-roots organization, dedicated to the effort of improving our stewardship of the natural world entrusted to our care with a special interest in ornithology. The club accomplishes this goal by increasing local awareness of the natural world with monthly meetings and field trip, by fostering birding within our community and providing a positive force to protect birds and preserve habitat. We stand ready to assist other local and national organizations in their quest to further conservation efforts.
